When thinking about how I want to translate the colours from the fish that I have been studying onto my hybrid, I began to look up brightly coloured make up. The images and work that stood out most for me was that of Dany Sanz for Makeup Forever. I thought this make up was beautiful and very inspiring. The seamless blending of the bright colours reminded me of that of some of the fish that I have been researching. I would like to try to be able to achieve this on my hybrid over the top of my prosthetic pieces. I also like how the colours continue into the hair, and I think that this is a really clever way of continuing the storytelling and character all over the body. I hope to achieve this look with my Kryolan Aqua Colour Palette but will need to practise with the blending and choosing the correct colours.

I also found an image online of colourful but slightly more messy make up inspired by Van Gogh from Mehron make up. Although it is a lot more unrefined and unblended I think that the use of colour and brush strokes is very beautiful and full of impact.
